Description:
Changing the network interface being used (for example by creating a VPN or altering the routing table) while in a multiplayer game keeps it going (even when sending info to server) without any apparent response from the server. After leaving and attempting to join any server (even if that if its domain didn't even exist) the game crashes
Steps to reproduce:
1. Join a multiplayer game
2. Change the network interface being use (for example by starting a VPN that routes all traffic or switching to the wifi instead of ethernet)
# Note that the game keeps running despite not having any apparent response from the server and not getting kicked when you try to chat (but chat still doesn't work)
3. Leave the game
4. Attempt to join again or even join any random domain
5. Enjoy the crash
Note: After stopping at step 3 and trying to continue single player the game didn't load properly and I got a lot of errors about AI clients disconnecting and now the SP game refuses to load. I am not aware if this is related or if it's because of how I am rapidly switching version or something else.Partial Example (with some info redacted):
